Trulyvintage
Folks contact me about shipping parts and other items but I am not always available to transport what they need moved … I have heard good things about YRC Freight: @ https://yrc.com Jim
SuperJonas
I have used YRC to ship a 274 Straight 8 Chrysler CZ engine from upstate WI to PA in 2021; no problems at all and much more reasonable than other LTL company quotes. Greg
TAKerry
I would also suggest if someone is shipping a large heavy part to contact their local LTL freight carriers. We have a Estes depot nearby, though I have not had to use them I would check if need be. I have picked up parcels several times from ABF in Baltimore and that part of the process was simple.

MochetVelo
I've used a couple services successfully: UShip.com and FreightQuote.com. They both offer bids/quotes from multiple carriers to fit your needs. Phil
TAKerry
I shipped a complete rear (it was heavy) a few years half way across the country. I bolted and strapped it to a pallet so it could be moved easily with a forklift. The 'buyer' arranged for shipping through fed ex freight. Everything went off without a hitch. 1937hd45
Good to know. Yellow Freight was great, used them a lot with a nearby terminal. Then it closed and another company was good till they closed, tough business I guess. "Trucking Rates" were always a mystery to me, the same 2x2x2 box had different rated depending what was inside, UPS could not care less about the contents.
