bryankazmer
The interior is to a highstandard but I'm not sure it's authentic in pattern. The hood has been "shaved" - script and hood ornament removed and holes filled.
alsancle
Nice car. Been customized mildly. I think the price is optimistic especially if they are storing it outside.
58L-Y8
Only the 1956 Packard Executive which replaced the Clipper Custom series in March 1956 and the Patrician, 400 and Caribbeans had the coved, hooded headlights front fenders. The interior pattern isn't factory authentic.
kingrudy
IMO 1956 was the high point for Packard, beautiful cars. That said you often see the four door models that are well taken care of for 15k to 20k. I believe that the seller is trying to get all of his money back on the restoration. I could be wrong, but I hope to have one of these cars some day and I can't see 40k.
cjmarzoli
Probably the best looking Postwar Packard IMO. I prefer the Clipper rear end to the treatment on Senior Packard models. As well as the last "real" Packard. I would have reversed the paint colors myself. White for the center band. Appears nicely and fairly tastefully done but all incorrect as stated. Price is "pie in the sky". A nice original driver '56 400 coupe (a higher model) just sold in Mass at a classic car dealer for under 10k. That's around what this car is probably worth.
