1947 Ford Super Deluxe Classic - $2

This one had me fooled as it looks pretty darn close to the 47 Ford I sold a few months ago....

 

1947 Ford Super Deluxe. Nice Car, Runs great. Converted to 12 volts. Power front windows, Old Air, Air Conditioning, has new head liner. Recently had Windows tinted dark but doesn't show in these pictures. Has original flat head V8 and three on the tree speed transmission. No leak or smoke. Strong runner. Asking 22K or best offer. This car can be left alone and just drive and enjoy or let your imagination go with upgrades. Call or tex Rick . Please Please no scammers.

A neighbor (not a car guy) when I was a kid had about a 55 Ford that wouldn't run. Had all new tune up parts etc. and the guy just gave up. It was just a used car those days.

Fifty bucks and its yours he said.

I went over with another buddy and messed with it for a couple of minutes then drove it home.

The guy was amazed. All I had to do was unchoke it by taking off that tiny air filter.

I would never have any use for those stupid things.

The only thing I think (outside air cleaner, ez fix) that hurts this is he is well into the price range for a coupe in comparable shape.  Not that hard to find a '46 - '48 as they were really popular a few years back.  Still popular but market is what it is now.
