(craigslist.org) Seller's Description: Up for consideration, 1966 AMC Ramble 770 Classic Convertible. Selling for a friend due to heath reasons, I will answer any questions as best I can. Professional restoration looks pretty much perfect with only a few blemishes on some trim chrome. Ran fine when parked, parked now for a few years, added a new battery put some gas in the carb, didn't pop. Looks like points, cap or some spark plug work needed but did run well when parked. Looks all original including the drive train. Judge pics for yourself, new upholstery, paint, convertible top. Clear Title in hand, $23,500, serious inquires only please, cash sales only. Scammers move on, I have seen them all. Marty Roth
So, Professionally Restored? But hasn't run in a few years, and can't be bothered to clean points to get it running, but asking what some might consider an outrageous price for a less-than-universally desirable car? Don't get me wrong. I've enjoyed the couple of Ramblers I had, but this appears to need some attention.
Fossil
So What's the deal, is $20,000.00 the new $8,000.00 when it comes to selling cars that don't run????
The 55er
So $23,500 for a non-operable Rambler that has't run in a while with extra stuff on the front seat. See contact info above. Who's the seller, Shep or Shemp? 1
