Morris 8 SI Rare Option 2 Seater Sport Tourer 1937 Convertible -... (craigslist.org)
Seller's Description:

This is a Texas barn find that has been in dry storage for over 50 years. The Morris 8 Tourer produced 23. 5 bhp. could reach 58mph and could return 40 plus to the gallon. Well-equipped as standard included electric wipers and hydraulic brakes that put the 8 above the Austin 7 and the "Y" model Ford. She is not mint, but she still looks very good for her age and will give the next owners lots of fun. She still turns heads wherever she goes. not unlike Dolly Parton.
This is rare 2 seat model, original 4 cylinder, (not running, but turns freely), unrestored, complete and original. The mileage is unknow. The original sheet metal is straight and rust free, body lines are straight, and the doors close nicely. There is no evidence of previous body damage or repairs. It appears to have one repaint over the original paint. The seats also appear to have been covered over the original upholstery years ago.
History of the car's world travels extend from England, through Australia, to Hawaii, and around to America. Currently residing in Shreveport, Louisiana. The last inspection sticker was from Hawaii and dated 1969!
The Morris needs a total restoration. The original bumpers are included, and pictured in great condition, but are not installed on the car. The door panels have been removed but are also pictured and included with the car.  Asking $11,000

Interesting and uncommon car, even in the UK. Probably if you did a lot of the work yourself and the wood was all good, you could have a nice $15,000 car and only spent close to that in restoration costs.

That body style was also manufactured in Australia, but note it has a UK data plate

Wire wheels may be later smaller diameter.  Tail light 1960-1970's BMC
