  • Hagerty Values one it

Condition #1 vehicles are the best in the world. The visual image is of the best vehicle, in the right colors, driving onto the lawn at the finest concours. Perfectly clean, the vehicle has been groomed down to the tire treads. Painted and chromed surfaces are mirror-like. Dust and dirt are banned, and materials used are correct and superbly fitted. The one word description for #1 vehicles is "concours."
  • #2 Excellent$25,800
  • #3 Good$13,300
  • #4 Fair  $5,600
Garnet Red & Antique Ivory was probably one of the most popular combinations

Unfortunately the market for this car is worse than it was 2 years ago and even $25k would have been optimistic then.

Do you mean that the overheated market is

cooling off, or that 1950's cars are less popular

than they used to be, or...?

It would be interesting to hear your insights.

Maybe both of those are happening.

Both.  Most 50's cars have peaked, and the market for most has also cooled down dramatically from the Covid boom.  I regularly see cars for prices the old me would have jumped at a few years ago.  Almost nobody is authentically restoring them anymore except for the Impalas and some rare gems.
