Minibago
Very early Dodge Brothers but I think the gooseneck is 180 degrees out.
Minibago
Does the goose neck, where it bolts on to the block, have a kink in it or is it straight?

carbking
It is a "marriage" carburetor with parts from multiple years; and as previously posted, whoever assembled the parts installed the throttle body backwards. Jon.

nearchoclatetown
That bent neck with the throttle plate close to the carb was only used a very short time.
MrLiken
That bent neck carb was used in conjunction with the Model D 4 wire starter/generator. It needed that bend towards the firewall, due the the length of the generator. Later model generators were shorted and could incorporate the 90 degree neck. Mattml430
I’ve never seen one with a bent neck like that.
Minibago
Hi Matt, I hope you are settling in to your new home/workshop. The bent neck was only used on the very early cars fitted with the longer starter generator, the neck was bent to provide clearance.
