rocketraider
I daresay the Linken might be the easiest of the three to restore, since they gained a collector following early on. Even made the cover of a Little Feat album in 1974! Complete with George and Marilyn! 1
60FlatTop
I just checked with the car hauler to let him know the wheelbase is 127.5" on the Chrysler project car he is delivering to me tomorrow. He was deciding which of his trailers to use. Then I dropped off some Ford 5 1/2 bolt pattern wheels to have the old tires removed. I picked them up at a swap meet last weekend for resale. Next I stopped by Walmart for 5 quarts of oil for a change in my 15 year old Avalanche. That was all after having coffee with a couple of the old guys. On the way home I was thinking that was pretty close to the itinerary of a morning when I was 30. Most of my life I worked nights so old car stuff just happened. I am glad for the project. I imagine I will sell it within a couple of years and buy something else. Some things are just part of your life. It was good to realize I was pretty much doing the same things I would be doing 45 years ago.
John_S_in_Penna
I recommend: If you already have a project, work on that. You will feel better if you make progress on the current job, rather than having a backlog pressuring you. But if you feel the need to loosen some money in your wallet, buy another car that is ready to enjoy! That way, you and your family can have some fun right now.
