I would love to have one of those! But I NEED to not get any more projects!

My great aunt Halley (born on October 31, her first name was actually "Halloween"!) after college, had one of these little American Austin coupes. She drove it around a dozen Eastern states, left New York, and went to the 1933 Chicago World's Fair! After a couple weeks in Chicago, she continued winding her way West. In Nevada, she met my dad's uncle and settled down to a long life as a desert rat in Nevada's high desert country. As a rock hound, she discovered an unknown deposit of more than fifty million year old fish fossils from a time when that part of Nevada was under the ocean (I still have some of the fossils!)!  Oh the stories she would tell! She was without a doubt one of the most interesting characters anybody ever met! My dad's uncle was the quiet one, but fascinating in his own way.

Now, if you ever run into me at a car show, looking long at one of these? You know why. Memories.
