34 Studebaker, lycoming V12, not mine

I would not post this car on this site if it was not for the V12 engine. That LaFrance engine is a tough one with its dual ignition etc.

I had one a few years ago that I did get to run and in fact drove the truck. (head gasket)

But sold the engine to some boat racer. And the rest to a guy that turned out to be a hoarder.

I had a 1944 American la France. Same style as yours. Could not give it away, fire department did not even want it.

That was my V12. Had an extra block and other parts. Fire truck was sent to the great fire house in the sky.

Any chassis the Lycoming V-12 ends up in better be beefed-up considerably, that engine weighs half a ton!
