I have a very nice 39 chrysler that was restored in the late 80ties and in the two years that I have owned it I have had the carburetor rebuilt by a professional carb shop and have had king pins replaced and had an alignment done at the same time. It's had a newer drive shaft made and installed. This car has turning signals also. This car is very nice and presentable . Drive now, pay later…and later….and later.  Friend of mine bought a well used Ford Pinto to use as a runaround car back in the day.  When someone said something to him about it one of his favorite lines was…six more payments and it’s mine!
