auburnseeker Posted March 5, 2022 Share Posted March 5, 2022 They used the Weird F for Ford as they couldn't use the original style F because I believe it infringed on the Ford trademark. This got away from that so they could make it without permission from Ford, because Ford was still ,most likely, making or atleast had stock of the original part. You see it with other cars like Plymouth and Dodge I believe in the 40's.
