Bill Masters
Does anyone know of a shop in the Raleigh, North Carolina area that can repair a three-inch crack in a cast iron engine block?
Bhigdog
No, but I know a guy here in PA that can metal stitch it and make it good as new. Any other method is second best and a crap shoot................Bob 3
m-mman
Search "metal stitching" on these boards. It is amazing what can be repaired.

Glen Andrews
Bill: I know there is a shop in Greensboro that indicates they fix diesel blocks and heads, Keys Block Repair, it's a bright yellow building on Wendover Avenue on the east side of Greensboro. I don't know anything about them, but it looks like the shop has been there quite a while, might be worth a phone call.
