Dave B.
One of the comments on Shorpy IDs this as a 1906 Cadillac model M, but there are a few differences that make me question that. Any input from the Cadillac experts? Edited February 3, 2021 by Dave B. (see edit history)
TAKerry
Cant help with the car, but a great photo. The gambrel roof buildings have me thinking New England. The guy that owned that car must have been the richest guy in town! Maybe owned the local shoe factory.
just me
1906-07 Cadillac for sure. Definitely Cadillac model M Victoria or (tulip) Touring. Could be 6 or 7 but It's 06. I tried to expand pic on my phone it gets blurry. 6 front fenders slant out like these. 7 fenders flatten out on top and have a skirt on inside that these don't appear to have. This also appears to have 06 bell shaped removeable radiator cap. 7 cap is fake and looks more like a mushroom. Details per Jeff Domer! jdome
Definitely Cadillac model M Victoria Touring or sometimes referred to as Tulip Touring. there were other M bodies. Could be 06 or 07, but it appears to be 06. I tried to expand pic on my phone but it gets blurry. 6 front fenders slant out like the car in photo. 07 fenders are almost flat on top and have a narrow skirt on inside edge that I don't see in this photo. This car appears to have the 06 removable bell shaped radiator cap. 07 (and 08) cap is fake and looks more like a mushroom. It's 06.
jdome
Neat photo. I have one of these 06 M Victoria 1-cylinder in a pile in the corner of my garage. I will print out a copy when I get to my PC.
Lostwrench1
The large building is the town hall of Marblehead, Massachusetts. The boys are standing in front of the police station. The building still stands today and is in great shape.
