mlavin73
My Dad can tell me this is a Clum ignition and headlight switch, but he doesn't know for what car, that a lot of cars used them. When I look on ebay, the descriptions all seem to name the car they are from. How might I find out what car this one is from?
JV Puleo
Ebay descriptions are generally rubbish and should not be taken seriously...remember, the people listing the item probably know less than you do and are just guessing or attaching a "make" based on what they think will sell without any reference or knowledge to back it up. I think that switch was used on any number of cars and trucks...and I wouldn't even guess which ones.
mlavin73
That makes sense. Thank you for the feedback.

When the listing person does not know what it fits, they usually says it is from a Model T. Ha Ha

RAH
mlavin73, The important part that would narrow this down is missing. The identifying data would be on the switch contact assy. It does appear to be for Dodge Brothers from '24-'25 however.
Layden B
2 basic problems, first the Clum number was on the fiber disc switch mechanism which is missing but the second issue you can help out with. Remove the key and wires and take another picture so we can see the face markings!
wmsue
Can you post photos of the keys? Sometimes they have identifying marks. Bill
