1960 Dodge Dart in good condition. No rust anywhere. It's gunmetal grey but very dull. Will need a repaint if you want shine. Eveything works.71,000 miles.6 cylinder 225 cu in. The gas tank was taken out and completely redone because of old gas sediment in it. The entire brake system was completely replaced last week by Kanter Auto Restoration. They are top notch and did an excellent job.($3,000 cost).Carburetor rebuilt. Speedometer rebuilt. Will need front end redone eventually, all the bushings are dryed out. It drives great. Seller's Description:

1960 Dodge Dart Phoenix 4-door Sedan

  • VIN: 4302238383
  • condition: good
  • cylinders: 6 cylinders
  • transmission: automatic
  • odometer: 72,000
  • paint color: grey

This car is in good condition. The price is firm. Everything works. Push button automatic transmission. Converted to power brakes from manual brakes. It has a rebuilt carburetor, rebuilt speedometer, complete brake system replaced by Kanter Auto Restoration in Boonton NJ which cost $3,000. Seatbelts front and rear, restored gas tank(boiled out and coated inside, checked for leaks also.) Electric fuel pump, under dash sound system usb connection for music,2 speakers. No rust on body. Could use front end steering components to be redone eventually, bushings are dried out. Paint is dull . Could use a repaint eventually. New battery. Amp light comes on and stays on. This is because I changed fron generator to alternator which is more reliable. I found out from my mechanic who did the work that the alternator didn't come with an extra wire to allow the amp light to go off. I personally tested the alternator and battery with a volt meter and they are both charging as they should.

A little more reserved in styling than the 59 Dodge Coronet posted here that is about the same vintage. I can imagine the little slanty would be growling while pushing this beast, I can hear the infamous tappets in the back of my head. Looks like an early version of the cupped web shape of the 70s Plymouth Fury steering wheel.
