Bumper center medalion

Is this a 1929 Model 65 front bumper center medallion ?

I don't think it is for a 1929. Probably earlier.

I looked on line and saw some photos of 1926s and 27s with just a round medallion but none with the scalloped edges.

All of the Imperials I found had a spearhead type. I found non for the rear bumpers.

I don't believe I have ever seen one like the one in question.

I have never seen one like that on any early Chryslers. It is probably one that was made by someone. They did a good job.

Is the center piece one of those cereal box premiums from the 50's.  The outer piece could just be something they found and mated the two.  I have done similar things in the past from scrap boxes.  Never thought what people might think that come across them years later.  Maybe one of mine will end up here some day under a what is it?

Some of the earlier Chryslers left the factory without bumpers, as these were an optional extra. It is possible that this bumper clamp was for an aftermarket bumper. Not one I have seen before.

The center emblem is nickel plated (brass?) and the rear part is plated cast iron, I don't think someone would take the effort to make up this piece. Everything looks like a factory manufactured part.

The Wheaties emblems were somewhat stamped sheet metal with the detail printed on.
