1928 Chrysler Front Axle

Recommended Posts

You will need to specify what model you have, as Chrysler parts of this era vary a lot. Don't assume all models used the same parts. Other years MAY fit, but don't bank on it, they may look the same until you compare them closely.

Had a look at the Chrysler master parts list for models prior to 1934. There is NO model 70 listed for 1928. Looking at part numbers for front axles reveals the following information:-

1925-7 Model B and G series 70 cars share an axle.

1928-30 Models 72/75/77 share an axle but different to above.

1926-9 Model 60/62/65 all have different part numbers, none of which are the same as any of the above.

So it is important to verify what car you have. If you look carefully at the fedco plate on the dashboard you will find a series of letters and numbers, if youtell us what those are we can tell you exactly what year and model you have. This will also help you in the future when looking for parts.
