rwchatham
Anyone have a source for seat springs used in gm cars of the 50s , they were individual coil springs that were covered in cloth bags and sewn together , looking for a replacement source ,
Dave Mellor NJ
Snyder's in Ohio is mostly a Model A and Model T parts dealer but they also do antique seat springs as per their ad in Antique Automobile. You could try them, just look up snydersantique.com
trimacar
What you are describing are called Marshall spring assemblies. Google that and you'll find suppliers, make sure you get a stiff spring for a cushion as many Marshall springs are very weak and won't make good cushions. Restorer32
Snyders does beautiful work with springs. Expensive but beautiful. They have made maybe a dozen Packard springs for us using our originals as patterns.

You will need to replace any foam though no matter what you do- yellow snow has a dual meaning.
