Dating Postcard Using Autos

Hi....I'm a local historian in Fort Collins, CO and I'm trying to date an image taking in Northern Colorado and used on a real photo postcard. There are no obvious clues to the date. The stamp box, on the back, which is one way to date a real photo postcard, was unfortunately used for a long time, so it gives a broad date range - 1924 to 1949. There are three automobiles in the photograph. Unfortunately, they are pretty small. Below are two images, one showing the entire photo and the other is a closeup of the cars. I'm hoping someone can narrow the date for me.

The  two sedans look like 1924-1930, approximately the touring in the front looks like early 1920's to me. Sorry if that's not much help, but it's the best I can do.

To me, the frontmost sedan looks 1927-28, and the larger rear sedan 1929-31.  The touring in the foreground looks 1924-25.

Lower left car looks to be a 1926 Chevrolet.

 The hood side vents and the front-hinged door make it a '30.

The large car on the right looks like maybe a 1931 Chrysler by the look of the wavy bumper.

I can't add to the dating of the cars, but this is a gorgeous scene overall!

 

Is the ranch still there?

Yes, the ranch is still in operation. It is in Northern Colorado, but it looks like you have to get to it from southern Wyoming. As it turns out, it is currently for sale. The 17,000+ acre ranch is listed for $44.9 million. Maybe a really big bunch of us could go in together and buy it.
