1)  Pontiac deluxe six 4door? 1937-1940?

2) where is location of the body number (vin code), chassis number?

Can not see hood hinge, that would help.

Engine looks odd. Pontiac offered flathead or sidevalve six and eight cylinder models, never an OHV until 1955 and that was a V8. I was going to suggest it might be a Canadian made model with a Chevrolet engine but it doesn't look like a Chevrolet either. License plate says you are not in the US or Canada. It could be a locally assembled or imported model that differs from US models, or maybe someone changed the engine. Left hand drive suggests you are not in Great Britain, Australia, New Zealand or other former British possessions. Looks like a Russian or Eastern European car in the background.  Hard to say when you give us so little to go on. Is that an ID plate on the firewall? What does it say? Any other serial numbers or identifying marks?

i think id plate on firewall  just for fun? not original...?  I do not know where search for other serial and id numbers... Locations?

Reminds me of a Opel six of that era. Opel, a G.M. company in Europe. It certainly has the valve cover of a Opel Blitz six.

yes, the opel blitz engine is visually the same.... as well chevrolet master deluxe 1937....

In 1937, the Canadian factories turned out the first Pontiacs that differed in any significant way from those built in the USA.  The difference: the engine, a 224 cubic inch OHV six developing 89 horsepower. This engine had a 1/16 inch larger bore than the one used in  the Chevrolet that year.  

This is a direct quote from Thomas E Bonsall's book,  PONTIAC: The Complete History.

 

In 1937 this model was called "224".

In 1938 it was all Chevrolet (including the 216.5 engine) with Pontiac trim and called the "Special Six"

In 1939 it was called the "Arrow", on a 115" wheelbase and did not have Knee-Action.

In 1940 it went back to the 113" wheelbase and was still called "Arrow".

In 1941 it was called "Fleetleader" on a 116" wheelbase and finally Knee-Action.

I can find no statistics when Canadian Pontiacs went back to Pontiac L head engines but have personally seen them in 1949 and up vehicles.

Love the horns if they are factory bent like that. Don't know why they would do it. Certainly isn't a lack of space in the engine bays of these older GM's.

The triangular plate is that of Ambi Budd Presswerk and goes together of that Hanomag serial plate. These were added later on as this car has nothing else to do with Hanomag or ABP.

The headlamps look to be plated rather than painted.
