Hey Andrew,

 I picked bought a group of '63 Riviera parts recently , just before we left for a road trip.  I had some time to look through most all of it, but have not tested everything.  There is a seat motor , that I need to test . Also a complete assembly I will need to test.

 It may be a couple of days before I can get time to check them out. Lots of catching up here at home.

No worries, this is for a friend who is going back to Rhode Island next week.  The car is under restoration there.  I will probably see him tomorrow, at a local cruise in.  I'll let him know.  If you get a chance, send me some pictures so we can compare them to his 64.  Just to make sure they are the same.

I would venture to say that the motor you're looking for would be the same motor used in all ful sized GM bodies for a number of years up through 1965.  They all used the same basic seat frame.

Hi Andrew, let your friend know I might be able to fix his seat assembly. I have parts and know how to repair most of the action parts on it. If he just needs a motor, Steve can rebuild his.

 I finally found some time to get a look at the power seat assemblies that I got with the Riviera parts purchase.  They are definitely not for a Riviera. I am not sure exactly what they fit though, but definitely too small to be for a first generation Riviera.
