Hello I have a 53 f100 with a 6cylinde was driving a long speedometer working fine and then speedometer needle in dash just fell and stopped working? Is this something that can be fixed in dash any and all help appreciated

I got under car and found this cable is still good. But this doesn’t loook right. No cruise control on car

Today was driving car down highway cruising along good speed and when I got near home noticed speedometer wasn’t working. Any idea what to check or look for to see what issue is. Thanks in advance
