Norton4
We're trying to date this photo, taken (we think) around 1930 at Zuni Pueblo in New Mexico. Can anyone identify car in the background (and the year)?
lump
Wow, not too much to go on. Based on comparisons with my own touring car of similar vintage, I would guesstimate this car as 1920-1922.

Rear body rub strips (for trunks) became popular for a short time beginning in 1923. but I'm sure some makes had them earlier than that. Can't offer any suggestions on the make from the angle shown. Stude17
A circa 1922 Overland 4 as shown in the below link. I cannot see any rear springs or a fuel tank and this fits the Overland 4 which had the 1/4 elliptic springs and a cowl mounted fuel tank. Also it appears to have the drum headlights shown in the attached link and the bottom curve of the windshield post also fits. https://www.shannons.com.au/auctions/2011-shannons-sydney-summer-classic-auction/YF3C669UWMSCEX11/

gwells
Keep in mind that the car may have been a few years old when the pic was taken. So I would hesitate to date the photo based only on the year of the car.
