ID on a 1914-18 Headlight

Bell shape light is steel , stainless or steel rim . stud mount 

Liberty lens by McBeth- Evans , type D no. 4769-B-9

lens is 8 1/2" housing 10 3/4" ,  8" high to nut

See photos.

Most of the google posts show Ford model T lights , hoping someone here recognizes this , it's in great condition.

Yes , there also was a Liberty automobile in 1916. Liberty is the model of the glass? McBeth-Evans glass co  the maker ?

I'm pretty sure Studebaker didn't make these lights , but they did use them. Would be interesting to know if their lens said Liberty.

I would think several makes of the time period used them.  I posted it in the Parts for sale section.

Be glad to hear of other makes.
