Seat covers..

I brought some to Hershey a couple of years ago, same thing, new in the box, and they fit more common cars (Ford, Buick).  Sold them for about $20 a box....so yes, you can sell, but very limited market and not much money...

We're all interested in the history of cars.

Car covers such as these were available at

Western Auto and other places that are now

just memories.  Even though they were not

often bought at a dealership, they tell the

story of life in the 1950's.

Yes, keep them for history's sake;  don't discard

them!  AACA may not recognize after-market

accessories, but someone has to.

One of my cars has 1957 after-market floor mats produced

by  Wooster Rubber Company, the forerunner of Rubbermaid.

That's what the original owner evidently bought in 1957.

I value them highly--how would I ever replace them?

I wouldn't mind seeing a car with authentic

vintage seat covers at a show.

Try selling them on this site, if no one wants them try Ebay. They will sell and probably for more than you expect.

/\ I agree 100%. /\

My 50 Chevy has the same type of covers on it,  My grandfather always put these on every car he owned, for the reason is that the seats would be in great shape when he went to sell it,,,,,,,, go figure he rather save the seats and sit on an uncomfortable material so the next guy can destroy them.

\/ Here are the covers on my 50 \/ They were on since new, the front fell apart so I had to remove it
