In the same vein as Willys, which is correctly pronounced as Willis, is REO correctly pronounced as spelled or is it "Are eee oh"???

Only in the band REO Speedwagon.

And there's no need to write the name of the car

all in capital letters.  Though the name originated

from the initials of its founder, it wasn't intended merely

to be initials, nor an acronym.  Reo itself treated its name

as an actual word.

I think that through most of its existence the name was spelt at various times both in all CAPITALS and not. But always pronounced reo.

But Reo didn't always spell it as mere initials.

I think most of the time that they did spell it REO,

the capitalization was likely for emphasis, because

the other words in the headline were capitalized too.

The fact that it was EVER in small letters means that

they weren't using the name as an acronym.
