freeman Posted February 5, 2018 Posted February 5, 2018 Looking for a front bumper, I believe 30 and 31 50 series will work. Bumper has upper and lower bars and is V'd in the center. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Please PM, email, text or call. Thanks in advance. Pat pfree3233@yahoo.com 616 863 9932 Please no calls after 10pm est.
Mark Shaw Posted February 5, 2018 Posted February 5, 2018 (edited) This is what it looks like... Note the yellow roadster has a single and the red sedan has a double... Edited March 19, 2018 by Mark Shaw (see edit history) 2
autodeco57 Posted February 5, 2018 Posted February 5, 2018 Have you seen eBay item number: 222808247330? eBay item numbe222808247330
freeman Posted February 6, 2018 Author Posted February 6, 2018 Thanks Mark and Steve, I have seen the one on ebay, looking to see if there is anything else out there.
31Buick80 Posted February 9, 2018 Posted February 9, 2018 It is also the same as the front bumper on my 1931 model 8-67. Used on several different models I believe.
30sclassics Posted February 9, 2018 Posted February 9, 2018 Although the 1931 50 series bumpers look similar to the 1931 60 series, they are different. All dimensions are slightly different - bars are 1/4" smaller, end bolts are 1/2" shorter, etc. Also, the 1930 bumpers are different.
freeman Posted February 9, 2018 Author Posted February 9, 2018 Thanks all for the feedback, this might make the search a little easier if a '31 60 series is similar. I'm ok with it being a little larger in dimensions, maybe someone may have a 60 series bumper available. Any help is appreciated. Thanks Pat
freeman Posted February 26, 2018 Author Posted February 26, 2018 Hi, Any more leads? or ideas? Thanks Pat
Pete Phillips Posted March 16, 2018 Posted March 16, 2018 I have several 1932 50-series front bumpers, but I don't think they have the "V" in the center. Pete Phillips, BCA #7338
George K. Posted March 17, 2018 Posted March 17, 2018 Hi Pat. This is what i have , but I"m not sure it is the right one because the bars are flat. There is no profile on the bars. The bumper is 63 inches long and the bars are one and three-quarter inches wide.
Pete Phillips Posted March 18, 2018 Posted March 18, 2018 The ones I have are 1932 and 1932 does not have a "V" in the center. Also, mine are single-bar bumpers. One is newly-replated (has not been unwrapped yet) and one is in need of replating (second photo, above the rear bumper). Pete Phillips
freeman Posted April 3, 2018 Author Posted April 3, 2018 I have had some great leads but still looking, any help appreciated. Thanks Pat
freeman Posted April 24, 2018 Author Posted April 24, 2018 Hi, still looking. Have had some potential scammers I believe, the person was willing to part a complete roadster / cabriolet from the picture he sent to pay for cancer treatments he needed. He wanted me to send a Wallmart money order and would ship it to my door. After several emails, with the last one asking that I send friends to pay and pick up the bumper, no response was sent. Any help is appreciated. Thanks again Pat
John Kelso Posted April 25, 2018 Posted April 25, 2018 I have a radiator and shell, 2 rear fenders for a coupe/roadster,set of headlamps with bar and golf club door lock with key and two pieces of literature for the 31 series 50 cars. Extras from a car I restored. John Kelso McConnellsburg, Pa.

Thank You, Michael Martins
