  1. These look to be in pretty good condition. Are there any cracks, tears, dents, etc,? Thanks, John
  2. Have a few leftover parts from a parts car. 1930-31 Hood, rear tank cover, front shroud under grill, and a rear left fender. Sheet metal is solid and straight on all except the gas tank cover has a few holes but they are under the body and not seen when mounted. The cover can be restored with some sheet metal work. I'd like to have someone use these rather than take to the scrapper. They've been moved around for several years but kept in dry storage. Price is negotiable. 6073495889 More pictures available.
  3. After my step-son acquired his long sought after 1985 Buick Riveria and got it home, it is clear that all the smog tubes have deteriorated and/or are brittle and in need of replacement. Several have come loose and detached from their original component, (EGR valve, solenoid, & beyond) and I am searching for a good source (pictures, drawings, diagrams, or specifications) that describes where they all go and which components connect to the next in line, etc. Can someone recommend a good place to look, or have details they are willing to share? The original label on top of the radiator is still there but it does not give enough detail to rework all the tubes/hoses. Thanks in advance.
  4. Unfortunately I do not have any rear axle seals. I have already located the pieces I was looking for last year. Thanks.
  5. Yes I do still have most of them. The gas tank was sold last year but the rest are still here in my stuff. John
  6. Selling extra parts. The gas tank cover is solid but has a few holes where it sat up under the body. It will need some repair work but is a good candidate for restoration. I also have the spare tire carrier that mounts on it. Also pictured is a shroud which mounts under the radiator/grill shell. It is in very good condition. $50 for the gas tank sheet metal, and $75 for the shroud, picked up at my location near Rochester, NY. They can be shipped, but probably not economical.
  7. For sale is a new unused "clutch" for a starter drive. Delco Remy 37870 in its original box but the box is falling apart. Condition of the teeth indicates this drive has not been used as there is no wear or marks. Selling for $30 plus USPS shipping. More parts to be listed. Thanks.
  8. Going through spare parts and came across 8 unused spark plugs, AC number 86. There are 7 in original boxes with protective papers and seal rings, one is out of its individual box as shown. They have a little surface rust but at this age what doesn't. Includes the original carton with the lid detached, but it's there. $40 for the set plus shipping expense. More parts coming as I get to them, stay tuned.
  9. 1930 or 1931 Sedan door handles cast in Admiralty Brass. Very solid unlike the original pot metal which breaks with age. Some sanding and cleanup needed and they will be ready for plating. 5 pieces available. $40 each, plus shipping. Back of the seat robe or blanket hanging rod brackets, also cast in Admiralty Brass. The holes need to be drilled out for inserting the curved piece and mounting screws. Again some sanding will get them smooth and ready for plating. $50 a set, 4 pieces, plus shipping. Newly plated bumper brackets for two bar front bumper. Center and one side. $100 for both, plus shipping. Shoot me an email or call 607-349-5889. John
  10. Joel, I have two complete side skirts with the hole covers intact. They are both in primer paint by the previous owner (I bought the remnants of a rat-rod project). It may be too much for what you are looking for but I would like $100 for both skirts. I can send pictures if you are interested. John Opp
  11. I am in need of the cowl light mounting trim piece that mounts over the ends of the cowl and side chrome trim strips. Please see pictures. I removed the trim for replating and of course broke one. I checked BOB's Automobilia and do not find one in the catalog. Hopefully someone out there has extras they can part with.
  12. Hi Folks. These parts are still available and taking up space in my garage. I need the space and will sell these for a reasonable offer. I can be reached at six o 7, 349 five 889. Located near Rochester, New York. Yu may have to read the string to get to the pictures of the parts. Thanks.
  13. Anyone interested in a beautiful refinished ashtray that was an accessory for early Buick let me know. I can put you in touch with the owner who is not an AACA member.
  14. No, it is long ago sold. I only have sheet metal pieces left now, handbrake handle, pedal linkages.
  15. Thanks for the pics. I actually noticed the bumper guards on Bob's Automobilia just the other day and will keep that in mind. I took my bumpers and guards to Niagara Custom Plating in Niagara Falls last week and they said they can plate the guards I have. Might need a little fill here and there but they will plate copper, nickel, chrome. I'll see how they turn out.
  16. I am looking for the three bumper guards on the front bumper bars of the 1931 Buick. The metal skin on mine is peeling and crumbling away and it is time to re-plate the bumper bars so better guards are needed. I had some cast in aluminum but they just aren't the same level of detail. Thanks in advance.
  17. I am looking for the lock cylinder and keys for a spare wheel lock. It is an Oakes and came with my 1931 Buick. The cylinder fastens inside the hole at the back with a small screw. There is no locking ring at the front of the cylinder. If anyone has one please let me know.
  18. Solid radiator from a 1930 Buick model 40 I believe. The bellows for the air shutters is intact, but I do not know its internal condition. The radiator is in overall good condition. Appears to be all copper or brass. $100 plus shipping. Call me at 607-349-5889. If no answer please leave message.
  19. The gas tank has been sold. Prices for the remaining items are: Rear tank cover - $50, the spare tire carrier - $50, the front shroud - $75, frame rail cover side skirts - $100. I can work with interested persons to ship or deliver. I also have an original solid radiator from the series 40. Pictures can be made available on request as I have to travel to where it is stored. Thanks.
  20. A few pieces of sheet metal body parts left from a 1930 Buick Sedan, Model 40 I believe. Original gas tank, also the rear gas tank cover. I have the front shroud under the radiator between the frame rails. Spare tire carrier for the rear and the side skirts or panels that cover the frame rails on both sides. These parts are solid but are in need of some repair work to be usable. Also have a spare tire wheel lock mechanism. More pictures available on request. I need the space more than the parts so they are available at low cost. Located near Rochester, New York. 607-349-5889, text or call, or reply through the forum. Thanks.
  21. The fuel pump is SOLD and no longer available.
  22. Fuel pump for 1930-1931 Series 40, Series 60 (?) motor. I am not sure which engine this will fit but the casting numbers should help narrow it down. It may fit many models. The pump casting is in good shape and the ears for the bolts are solid. It does need cleaning and probably rebuilding, but overall in pretty good condition. $150 plus shipping by Priority Mail in the US. I do not have the push rod.
  23. Dave, I also have a starting hand crank, plus the headlight socket connectors, etc. you are looking for. John
  24. I also have a spare wheel/tire carrier and gas tank sheet metal cover from a 1931 model 8-67. I believe they are the same. Pictures are available so just send me a PM. I have no need for them so glad to pass them along for a very low price. Thanks, John
