Rear view mirror - early touring Buicks

Here's the one that I used in my Model "T".  It clamps on to the frame so no holes drilled.

It articulates in both directions

This is the rear view mirror from my 1925 Buick Standard that I have not yet restored.  It has thick non beveled glass.  I was going to get the glass resilvered, or have a new piece of thick mirror cut.   Hugh

Hugh's is identical to the original on my 1928 Buick Roadster. The windscreen frame was drilled and the mirror was bolted to the frame permanently. It allows the mirror to be swivelled down if the windscreen is in the down position, although all you then see is the folded top and cover..

I found an accessory trouble/spot light with a rear vision mirror attached to be essential to keep an eye on what traffic was sneaking up in your blind spot. The circular convex rear view mirror gives an excellent view of what's behind and beside you. They are usually available at reasonable prices on eBay.
