nzcarnerd Posted January 5, 2018 Posted January 5, 2018 Taken in Christchurch, New Zealand in the early 1970s. What is it?
nzcarnerd Posted January 7, 2018 Author Posted January 7, 2018 Thanks all, we did work this one out after I posted it. Seems specifically it is a Model 6-63 (or maybe that is 6-66 - not sorted that one yet). This model has a similar 185 cid Continental engine to the 6-60 but has a three inch longer wheelbase. Not a lot of survivors I gather.
durant frank Posted January 9, 2018 Posted January 9, 2018 Here is a picture of one of my 1929 Durant model 6-63s.
wcd30 Posted January 9, 2018 Posted January 9, 2018 If it's a three-speed it's a 63, a four-speed, a 66. I'm guessing 66 with the grill louvers. Dave
Spinneyhill Posted January 9, 2018 Posted January 9, 2018 The 6-63 above has the cowl lights mounted above the waist line. DLynskey blue car has the cowl lights mounted on a bent bracket below the waist line. Is that significant to the model? The OP has them above the waist line.
