itstom Posted May 2, 2017 Share Posted May 2, 2017 Hey guys, Were springs used to assist in the glove box door opening, or was the latch mechanism supposed to kick the door open? jenz38 Posted May 2, 2017 Share Posted May 2, 2017 (edited) I have a small one mounted inside of the door under a side screw there..its size is like from a ball pen... it works again the frame from the dash.... Because for me too it's to much pain to open "just now" the door.. It works great since I install it 2004. itstom Posted May 6, 2017 Author Share Posted May 6, 2017 Well, these two guys were in the glove box when I bought the car. I never could figure out why glove box springs would be this heavy, or figure out a way to mount them. Does anyone know what they are for? The coiled portion is about 1-1/4" diameter.
