avgwarhawk
Concerning the propeller shaft and lubricating, the manual states, "One quick shot." at 5000 intervals. One quick shot of what is the question.
Bill Stoneberg
Grease, there is a rubber plug covering a grease zero in the driveline.
Bill Stoneberg
Of course depending on how the car is doing, you could use Tequila. :-)

Yes, I pulled the rubber plug expecting to see a grease fitting. All I had seen was the shaft. Went to the manual and read "A quick shot.". So I went for a Bourbon. I was certain that is not what the instructions meant but Bourbon was good anyway. Thanks for clearing that up!

Did you rotate the tires and shaft while looking in the hole ? I know mine has a grease fitting in there. So that's done. Thanks for the help.
NTX5467
"Lime and salt" . . . must have been thinking about the famous "Garter Margarita" a TexMex restaurant used to have as a "signature beverage". MANY types of bourbon, though, including that "wild bird" brand. Glad it's all figured out! NTX5467

I had a hot '59 50 years ago (damn that car would run!) does that count? Terry Wiegand Doo Dah America

Bill Stoneberg
Terry, the grease fitting is on the U-joint that is attached to the front section of drive shaft. I dont see the hole either.
