Left rear fender off and just find out that the donor car is a Model 52 Super Riviera Sedan and Toby is just  a Super Sedan meaning it is 4” shorter total length. luckily  the rear fenders are interchangeable according to my measurements. The difference could be on rear doors and roof length. Will see

Working on the rear emblem, I straighten it out since it was slightly bent on the bottom. Will plate this one. Lock assembly came from donor car since it already had a key and I never had keys when I got the car. Ignition switch will also be installed from donor. Next will attempt to paint the inserts, at least those are available as reproduction. If anybody needs any parts from the donor just let me know for availability

Metalman is back at it, unfortunately he comes too far between visits! But finding someone with old work artisans skills that will come to your garage and do these Sunday projects is not easy! Carlos is truly a friend.....He said that if the blue 54 Roadmaster took 4 years to build, this one will take about 6...luckily I love this hobby and keeping it alive....with friends like Carlos, I don’t need any foes!
