Beemon
Really interesting set of mods there. Factory AC but with a new compressor, interesting air cleaner with some type of tube setup there, a tri-5 electric wiper and some electrical work. If I had the money, I would buy one of these Roadmasters just for the bomber sights, deck trim and differential carrier. WHoah, did not read propane fuel in the ad... 60FlatTop
That's interesting. We had a welder in our town who had a '56 Roadmaster that ran on propane. He did a lot of welding for the railroad. I was about 15 years old when he showed it to me. The tank was in the trunk and he gave me a pretty good look at it. I'm only a 20 hour drive from Sarasota and we have always had a lot of snowbirds. MrEarl
Don't see many four door sedans. Nice car, would make a great "see the USA" candidate.
olds88
What would be a good deal for this car? I was looking at Old Car Price Guide (an older edition) and a #2 car was $14,700, #3 was $9,450. I contacted the seller and he said the propane system could be removed. I wonder if there are some permanent mods from putting in that system that cant be put back to original, I will ask.
