NC-car-guy
The 56 I bought from Bob has a 322 sitting in it.... I've not opened it up so i have no clue what may lurk within. I'll be happy to check for you.

If so and want to tear into it, let me know what you want for them before you do. May be interested in heads and exhaust manifolds if that was a dual. 27 minutes ago, SpecialEducation said: Now what does Mr. Fitty Fo want with '56 internals, I wonder?!! Yard art, what else. Jus kiddin, got an old school hot rod friend who's building a 322 for a hot rod.

Beemon
If it's for a hotrod, forget the heat stove and get a left side single exhaust manifold and put it on the right side. But, I'm sure you already know.
old-tank
Late 55 rods ( without the lock bolt for the wrist pin) should be the same as 56.
NC-car-guy
The carnage was terrible, i cannot display such disturbing photos on here. Even after 6 months in marvel mystery oil, every cylinder was frozen solid. Unfortunately many pistons did not survive. The rods seem good though, some of the wrist pins are tight. MrEarl
My condolences to the deceased. Thank you for the courtesy of not revealing the carnage. Email me pics of the rods if you will please.
