LAS VEGAS DAVE
Does anyone know where to get a 1938 Buick battery. The reproduction DELCO ones are no longer available. I heard TRACTOR SUPPLY has one that is close but I can't find it on their website. If someone has a part number I would appreciate it.
BuickBob49
Your 38 probably takes a 2E. They are expensive. I have a 3EH in my 39 Roadmaster and in my 49 Super. They are a bit taller and wider, but fit the rack and hardware. They also have quite a bit more cranking amps and are less expensive to purchase. I get mine through a local tire store. Mark Shaw
I ordered one from Batteries & Bulbs online and picked it up at the local store. They call it a tractor battery and it has more cranking amps than original.
BuickBob49
The 2E has 620 cranking amps; the 3EH has 875 cranking amps.

Morgan Wright
NAPA has this one https://www.napaonline.com/napa/en/p/NBE7205/NBE7205_0221940830 It says out of stock which is weird because I just bought one. The optima 6 volt fits easily and is a much better battery anyway.
LAS VEGAS DAVE
Thanks for the replies. I tried to get one from the place BUICK64C posted but they say they can't get them any more. NAPA had one that fits into the stock battery tray and hold downs that is even more powerful than the one Morgan Wright posted so I bought it.
