dibarlaw
Bob: Looks to be what would go on the 1923-1928 Model 55 Sport touring. Would love to have a Buick Sport Touring ! This is a 1923-
Leif Holmberg
Looks to be newer than the pictured 1923 Buick 6 cyl.models trunk.Leif in Sweden
ROD W
It looks like it is wider at the top than the bottom. For the sport tourer I think there wider at the bottom. Im going to have to find one for my 25-
dibarlaw
Leif is correct as usual. I did not look at the same 1923 Book of Parts I sent him. The only photo I had of a car with a trunk that did not have a cover on it was this 1923-55.
bob duffer
The trunk was on Ebay and listed as 1934,, but i did not think it was 1934. http://www.ebay.com/itm/BUICK-TOURING-TRUNK-PREWAR-CIRCA-1934-ANTIQUE-CAR-ACCESSORY-PART-SIGNED-BUICK-/281947832088?hash=item41a5667f18:g:uvAAAOSwLnlWpAKw&vxp=mtr

Leif Holmberg
This trunk looks to be original for Buick 1927.? After 1923 there are no pictures of "trunks" in the parts books.Leif in Sweden. http://www.barrett-jackson.com/Archive/Event/Item/1927-BUICK-27-51-BROUGHAM-SEDAN-65742 Edited February 28, 2016 by Leif Holmberg (see edit history)
jbbuick22
I think after 1923 Buick did not supply trunks, Trunks were probably a dealer installed option. JB 22-6-55 Sport Touring

There were two different heights - the larger one, as pictured in the above post, is considered normal for sedans. The shorter one, pictured on my blue car, is considered rare, and frequently seen on open cars, as I recall. This is a shot of my (former) 34-57, now in Nevada: Edited February 29, 2016 by Marty Roth (see edit history)
