I am wondering if there might be a 5 speed transmission out there that we could install in our cars that might give us a bit more punch off the line and maybe with the extra gear even better gas mileage on the top end. I am not sure if gm ever did a five speed fwd auto. I have not looked. i had a 5-speed manual trans in my '88 Chevy Beretta GT 2.8L. idk if it could be made fit the 3.8L though...
