cool57
My water manifold is leaking and I plan to remedy it.I have the three gaskets, but- I need the O-ring. Does anyone know the dimensions of the ring or where I can find the correct ring?

RivNut
Russ Martin sells them as part of his Part #WMGS. Water Manifold, gasket, and seal set. You get the thermostat gasket, water manifold to head gaskets, and water manifold to water pump O-ring for the whopping sum of $10. Here's the link to the kit. https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-PoxTyLpddfA/UEkErnGpoGI/AAAAAAAABr0/wknU11z2bBw/s640/wm%252520gaskets.jpg His complete website with contact info can be found at www.nailheadbuick.comEd
JanZverina
Yes, O'Reilly's has that FelPro kit that Jim suggests but I'm sure you can source it elsewhere, It's an easy job to line up the end gaskets before installing the bolts -- if you have three or four hands! Use a good grade of gasket cement and make sure you clean your bolts and inlet threads before you reinstall.
JZRIV
It a 3/16" cross section and .662 ID oring. Which makes it a #313. you can try a hardware or home improvement store but 3/16" orings aren't common enough for them to stock.Try checking NAPA or other AP with the #313 number or Victor # C45257. Make sure you thoroughly clean the oring seating area in the crossover and use a small amount of silicone sealer around it.
