Paul Falabella
Before during and after. Overwhelming evidence that the darker green was applied later and the light green, single color dash is original. Paint from Tower APS.
JohnD1956
That looks FABLOUS Paul. Geeze, you'd never find that color in a car today. And what a loss! While I like the gauge package on the 56 for it's color use, I do have to say the 54/55 dash is truly awesome!

old-tank
Looks good and good job! I was going to say it did not too bad before, but the transformation really pops. Your cuts and scrapes should be healed in a about a week. I have one of mine apart to repair the speedometer (cable broke off in the head) and I found that I still hate under dash work. Did you ever get the measurements on the vacuum hoses?Willie
Paul Falabella
Thanks all,PITA job but I think it made a big difference and now a little more original. And did not get tetinus!Willie, no joy on the vacuum lines. Called CARS they are not even sure of the proper size hose. They offer 3 different sizes at $1.75 a foot so I'd like to get it right. Not that this hangar queen ever sees inclement weather!
