DonMicheletti
I always have to laugh at that comment "It wont last long" in a ad
Marty Roth
Nice appearance, but might be more attractive without the fender skirts -just one guy's opinion
Bleach
I didn't like the skirts either. Were they an original accessory?
Marty Roth
To me, skirts look "right" on certain cars, such as your 1956 Ford Fairlane Town Sedan. In fact, the body lines probably were the precursor for the 1957 Mercury "Turnpike Cruiser" full-length skirts.I think they look right on my 1941 Caddyand my 1954 and 1970 CaddysBut I really prefer the factory open design of the rear fender on the 1937 Buick Roadmaster 80C Phaeton

DonMicheletti
Fenderskirts? If you want a real heated discussion start one on sidemounts!

egor
First year for Buick skirts was 1940. If I see skirts on a 37/38, I expect to see some red velour upholstery. Not that there's anything wrong with red velour upholstery....
