Dwight Romberger
I am already regretting not going after this one myself. Hope one of you can get it.http://lubbock.craigslist.org/bar/4155517280.html
trp3141592
Hi,I'd love to have this, but just how many projects can a guy have? I have a long list ahead of this one... :-(--Tom
Mark Shaw
Dwight, Thanks for posting this.... I forwarded it to a prewar Buick guy that is much closer than I am.Stay tuned....
trimacar
Looks like a great project that's fairly complete, maybe a Model 21 (as is attached picture), judging by the size and "question mark" rear fenders, not a real big Buick but a heck of a nice car done.....someone should grab this one, even if the guy isn't "stupid" ........ 60FlatTop
They used to start wars so you only had 10 or 15 years worth of cars. Now there are 6 decades worth of post war cars; quite a range. How could we de-humanize the eras?Bernie
Chris Paulsen
Great project! It looks like it has front doors so I'd say it is a 1912 Model 29-smaller than the 1911 Model 21 shown above.
Mark Shaw
Tom, You're not the first to ask this question...This one qualifies for Pre-WWI, but the BCA Prewar Division is for all Pre-WWII Buicks, & it is free for BCA members.
trimacar
Chris, the Model 29 had rounded rear fenders, not question mark, so still thinking Model 21....or another model?

Larry Schramm
Tried to call today and the phone number is disconnected and no longer in service. Does anyone know what happened to this car?
Guest Texas Old Car Guy
In November when the car was first mentioned on this forum I got the guy to send me more photos and confirmed it was actually a 1912 Buick. We talked on the phone several times and the car was just 18 miles from the town where I grew up and I was ready to go get it but even though we negotiated a reasonable price for it, I decided I didn't need any more major projects. Guess the Craigslist listing expired. Below is what I believe it to be, a 1912 Model 29 Buick.Fred Edited March 16, 2014 by Texas Old Car Guy (see edit history)
Larry Schramm
Thanks for the info. I was looking through my notes and ran across the ad and thought I would call to see if it was sold.
