1935Packard
Here's a great time-waster: 2-minute color videos taken while driving down LA's Sunset Strip in 1964 and 1967. Some amazing cars, and it's fun to try to ID them.

CarlLaFong
It all looks so familiar. We cruised the Strip a hundred times, back in the 60s as well as Van Nuys Blvd, racing on River Road and other general foolishness. The statute of limitations may not have expired on some of our antics, so I'll keep quiet, for the sake of friends who are still living.
NTX5467
Some NEAT stuff!! Thanks for posting the link!!When we vacationed in LA in 1963, myaunt (who lived in Sierra Madre at the time), drove us down "The Strip" one day. I kept looking for "77 Sunset Strip", but never found it that day. That was one show I completely loved . . . even buying the Warner Bros album from the show (which also included a glossy color portraint of Ed "Kookie" Byrnes in it. Still have it.I found the pictures of Dino's Lodge, with one where Ed was the valet for Dean Martin in his Thunderbird, plus the cast of the television show picture.THANKS!NTX5467
