msmazcol
Seems the part locator here at my operation has screwed up. I'll have to fire myself. Ready to put my brakes back together on my 36 Divco S and don't have any really good looking brake return springs. They are Wagner Lockheed 14 inch drum. The application also fits:Mack 39-50GMC 40-49White 46-57 Think the spring part number for the rears are FC 3103.If anyone can lend a helpful hint here I would appreciate it a whole lot. Thanks

Marty Roth
Hi Mark,Your local NAPA should be able to help, or to try to match it up.Good luck
Barry Wolk
All it boils down to is the diameter of the wire, diameter of the coil and number of loops. Your local NAPA should be able to match things up.
Rusty_OToole
Go to the local NAPA store and get a brake hardware kit for a 49 GMC. They are cheap, and include all new springs and fasteners.
msmazcol
Thanks guys for the tip on the NAPA guys. I'll look up one somewhere around here. We have lots of AutoZones, etc. Not many stores that have real parts like we did.Kind of sad.
msmazcol
NAPA lets me down. I'm one of the guys that has a NAPA store in town that does not really want to try. I knew there was a reason I did not go in there often. So quick to say discontinued.Another hole in the wall store in the next town over has a couple good candidates on the way. Drawings look very close. Some guys just try harder than others.
keiser31
I know I have some similar springs in a big tin full of springs. I looked "almost" everywhere I thought it could be and will try again in a few minutes after lunch to find that tin.
