Guest Silverghost Posted December 16, 2010 Share Posted December 16, 2010 (edited) This is based on a Cord 810 running gear~Designed by a member of the Heinz family~ Rusty Heinz They should have called it The Phantom Pickle-mobile !Poor Rusty died beore he could really enjoy it ! A member of the DuPont family designed a similar odd looking car in the late 30s~I suspect they knew each other & were trying to Out-do one another as they lived near each other on large estates in DL .I don't beleve the DuPont car exists today?Does anyone know?
