padgett
note that was not an "Indianapolis Pace Car" but an "Indycar" (CART series) pace car - AFAIR PPG built several of them.
Booreatta
Padgett you are correct and this car has been on E-Bay several times. It is an interesting car but I dont think the value is there yet.
Barney Eaton
When this car was first up for sale last June at the CART auction several of us tried to get more information but the person on the other end of the computer connection did not have a clue.I ask the present owner if the car had catylitic converters and the answer was NO.... meaning that if you purchased it in at least Texas, it would not pass inspectiona and could not be driven on the street. padgett
Question would be "does it come with a title". (Special cars often did not have one, just a bill of sale that said "not for street use".) Have to be a little careful there also. In Florida a "salvage" title means much the same thing.
CMJAnew
Seems, if I recall correctly, it was titled in NY
Guest daveagain909
it can be licenced in florida and most counties in NC but not Wake county, And I was told that it has a NY title, but I am surprised that if it does not have a catalitc converter how it could be registered in NY? Rawja
There's no emissions testing in upstate NY, just the metro areas.
