nzcarnerd
Check the wheelbase - the distance between front and rear axles. If it is about 114" it is a Standard Six. 120" or bigger and it is a Master. The rims should be 22' diameter if it is a '25 Buick.
Leif Holmberg
Looks like a Std.model 1925-24 becuse of the lenghs of the hood and the 24 louvres? .Or maybe it`s a 1925-26 coupe model. Leif in Sweden.
Steve Braverman
I would imagine that the backwards body would make it a rare model.
Bob McAnlis
I believe if the serial number plate is still on the firewall, that the plate will ID the model number also. Then you can cross reference the standard catalog by Kimes that will give the model number identification.Bob McAnlis
keiser31
Maybe this will help. I saw that car at the Central Point, Oregon swap meet.
Leif Holmberg
keiser this pickture really help. It`s a Standard model of a closed car,no window brackets, the crank below the radiator tells it a std.model ,no "tube" between the frames in front.Licens bracket below the headlighs tells it`s a 1926 or 1927.Looks like an oil cleaner on the firewall 1925 didn`t have that.Front shock absorber maybe an accesories. And as Bob mc Anlis wrote check the plate on firewall that will tell what it`s. Leif in Sweden
Mark Shaw
It appears to be a 24 or 25 Buick Standard. It makes into a great truck. My 24 Master Six is below.
Guest
My thanks to Leif. It is real nice when someone explains the specific differences that make a vehicle one year or another.
