Curti
Not only do I not know what make model and year there are for? What are they? Something th secure sidemounts?
West Peterson
That would have been my guess. It'd be easier to see if you made the photo smaller so that we didn't have to scroll from side to side.

Dave7
Those look like suspension coil spring compressors.
jrbartlett
They don't look heavy enough for spring compressors. Normally there is a big bolt in the center that you turn with a socket.

Mark Huston
These were used to secure the side mount tires of a car that has metal side mount covers. When you have full metal side mount covers you would not have used leather stripes over the covers. The “Y” shaped end hooked the outside edge of the tire, the inner hook, next to the threaded end, hooked on to the side mount rest. I had a nearly identical set that came with the full metal side mount covers of an early 30’s Studebaker. I am sure these are not for Studebaker, but would have been used on car with full metal covered side mounts.

Curti
Thanks Mark, we are getting close! Thank you too Studemax. I cropped it as much as I could. It's a nice camera. To many pixels I guess.
