  14. A wealthy land owner stopped at gas station to fill up his truck. While waiting for the attendant to fill the tank he wanted to impress on him how much land he owned, so he said, I have a ranch just West of here and it takes me 3 days to drive from one end to the other. The attendant looked at him and said " I used to own a truck like that" !

  20. Thanks for the above methods, I'm not sure if I can safely file any areas that are pretty fine detail without a miss and a scratch. I'll try the self etching primer and then the laquer and the paint paddle with the cloth . . . . I think that method will work best for these emblems, As always, Thank-You for your ideas and suggestions, Joe
  21. Hello, I have recently had a few 1935 Pontiac emblems chromed and now have to paint parts of them before putting them back on the car. I haven't done this before and am wondering the best way to go about prepping / painting the chrome so the paint will stay on. Any ideas and / or suggestions are welcome. Attached are some pictures of the emblem I will be painting ( Pontiac 8 ) and an original emblem ( Pontiac ) with the original paint still on it. Thanks in advance, Joe
